requires providing classroom instruction for Level 1 (12 hours) or

QUALIFICATIONS
REQUIRED:
A bachelor's degree in human services, nursing or a doctorate in
medicine from an accredited college. Completion of the state
certification training in the Florida DUI Program will be necessary.
Possess
a minimum of 4,000 hours of experience by direct service delivery in
human services, criminal justice, education, traffic safety or medical
care. May substitute a master's degree in the above for 2,000 hours of
experience. A Certified Addiction Professional (CAP) or Certified
Criminal Justice Addictions Professional (CCJAP) may be substituted for
a degree that is not in those listed above, however, a bachelor's
degree is still required. Documentation of 10,000 hours of direct
contact in the above fields may substitute for the bachelor degree
requirement.
Must
possess 250 hours of group experience, either clinical or therapeutic.
If didactic, such experience shall be in a substance abuse or mental
health setting. Documentation of group experience will include
applicants role (leader or co-leader) specific number of hours, open or
closed groups and group skills utilized.
